Annual Fund
The Berkshire Waldorf School Annual Fund is a critical part of our financial stewardship and an important part of our annual operating budget. It is used to fill in a gap of 15-20% from revenue we receive from tuition and the cost of operating the school each year.
Gifts to the annual fund support priorities such as tuition assistance, faculty professional development, campus infrastructure projects, academic programs and co-curricular activities throughout the year.
Gifts to the annual fund come from our holiday fair, individual gifts and the spring gala. BWS also submits grant funding proposals to various foundations who support private schools such as BWS. Current and past parents, alumni, grandparents and friends are those community constituencies that will make gifts to the fund each year.
