Support While Shopping
Scrip
Scrip is an easy, cost-free way to contribute to our school. Big Y, Guido’s and the Berkshire Co-op markets are just three of the local merchants who accept Scrip at the same dollar value you would spend at the store. Each store then donates a percentage of the Scrip dollars you spent back to the school.
Just in time for holiday shopping, we are thrilled to announce the expansion of our school’s already successful grocery Scrip program with our new partnership with ShopWithScrip! By purchasing gift cards (including e-gift cards that can be used online or at store checkouts) for many of the stores at which you may already shop, you will be earning money for our amazing school!
Here’s how it works:
- Go to www.shopwithscrip.com and create an account using our unique organization code: ZGHRNVBR34R3. Select the option to link your bank account for purchases — this keeps fees to a flat $0.15 per transaction.
- Purchase gift cards for your favorite stores on the website, or by installing ShopWithScrip’s app, RaiseRight, which lets you buy gift cards right from your phone! There are over 750 retailers that participate, including Amazon, Target, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Crate and Barrel, Gap and L.L. Bean (to name just a few), and many stores allow you to purchase e-gift cards that you can use when shopping online or paying at the store checkout!
- Retailers give a percentage of your gift card purchases back to the school as a charitable donation! You literally earn money for the school by shopping!
If you have any questions about ShopWithScrip, please contact coordinators Yvonne Perez-Zarraga and Tanveer Ahmed at scrip@berkshirewaldorfschool.org. And there is much more information on www.shopwithscrip.com.
