You’re invited to join us for Coffee, Tea & Tour on select first Wednesdays, in conjunction with the BWS Parent Association’s weekly gathering.

Bring Your Whole Family to the Fair!

Come over and play at our 53rd Annual Holiday Handcraft Fair Saturday, November 15, from 10am to 4pm.

Sharing the Delights of a Handmade Holiday—Berkshire Waldorf School’s annual gift to the Berkshire community since 1972, teachers and families transform classrooms into festive winter adventures, including the Berkshire Country Store, Auction Room, Handcraft Room, Rudy’s Diner for lunch, desserts and treats, a dress-up photo booth, puppet shows, jump rope making, beeswax candle dipping and other gifts to make and give.

2. Program Introductions

Looking Forward to the Grades*

TUES November 22, 2025, 9:00 a.m. EST

This annual event is for current and prospective families with children who will be growing from Early Childhood to the Grades, and those looking to join a Grades class. Starting with coffee in the Jean Zay Memorial Library (BWS Grades School building), this in-person event includes admission to the Thanksgiving Assembly at 11:00 a.m., a delightful look at what Grades 1-8 have been working on during the Fall.

Looking Forward to Middle School *

WED January 14, 2026, 8:30-9:30 a.m. EST

Starting with coffee in the Jean Zay Memorial Library (BWS Grades School building), this in-person event is for current and prospective families whose children will be entering Sixth, Seventh or Eighth Grades in September 2026 (and those looking into the future). Meet teachers and administrators to learn more about Berkshire Waldorf School’s dynamic, rigorous Middle School curriculum and programs, and how they uniquely meet your student’s growing understanding, skill and curiosity. We’ll cap off the morning with a visit to Middle School classes in progress.

3. Becoming a Berkshire Waldorf Family*

WED February 11, 2026 8:30-9:30am

Berkshire Waldorf School teachers make a bold commitment: to partner with you to nurture your child’s healthy learning and growing for a lifetime.

This live, in-person event is for current and prospective parents and caregivers whose children will be entering school for the first time, who are considering moving to Waldorf Education, or who want to deepen their understanding of what it means to become a Waldorf family. Hosted by the Pedagogical Director Lisa Profumo, this lively conversation unpacks the cultural aspects of joining Berkshire Waldorf School, a learning community based on warmth, connection and mutual support. We’ll also discuss how to make the most of your brief and unforgettable journey through Early Childhood and the Grades.
